Fiscardo, Kefalonia
One of the most popular destinations of the Ionian Sea, Fiscardo, is a traditional harbor village found in the northern tip of Kefalonia. Having survived the great earthquake of 1953, Fiscardo has remained undamaged throughout the years that have passed, making it unique amongst other destinations of its kind. All forms of transportation can be used to get to Fiscardo. Ideally, because Fiscardo is a harbor, owning a yacht or a boat in general is proved to be a great solution. having a boat will allow you to the, unreachable by other means, “hidden” beauties of Kefalonia.
This little harbor is also full of history. in 2007 an ancient theatre was discovered during an excavation which makes archaeologists believe that under fiscardo lies more information about it’s history.
